Don’t miss Daniel Barenboim during his special engagement at the Harris Theater, 205 E. Randolph Drive in Millennium Park. Scheduled to appear at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and The Metropolitan Opera, this landmark performance is the only other public recital the world-renowned musician and conductor will give in the United States in 2008. Considered among the world’s greatest pianists, Barenboim will perform an all Franz Liszt concert featuring Légendes St. François d’Assie: La Prédication aux oiseau, Paraphrases on Operas of Guiseppe Verdi for Piano Forte and selections from Deuxième Année: Italie.
