“It is well that we are free to dedicate our services to a splendid art.”
-Antonin Dvorak
Antonin Dvorak wrote his intimate and passionate piano trio during his rise to international importance. Oskar Bohme's virtuosic sextet is one of the few works for brass from the Romantic era. Emmy-winning composer Bruce Broughton's Prokofiev-, Fine- and Copland-inspired octet is a graceful, beautiful work for winds.
Bohme: Sextet for Brass in Eb Minor, Op. 30 - 1906
